What went wrong

About the match vs mango, it wasnt really a lack of skill, it was a lack of teamplay.

yes it was a lack of teamwork on goldrush and the first part of badlands
why??? lots of factors really, first ever match, nerves because of it being the first ever match, lots of echoing on teamspeak and sometimes too many people trying to talk at once, people not responding to anything said on TS when it could be heard clearly, panic due to mangos superior teamplay from the get go
but if you went into the match expecting to win you was wrong to do so
we could have won yes but expecting too..........its a no go zone because it can make it harder for your morale if things dont go according to how you wanted em too
play to have fun, work on teamplay but win or lose you must play to have fun
anyone that hasnt got a headset to minimise echoing i recommend get one when/if you can, ill be getting one shortly
dont have it noise activated, have it set as push to talk, i use my mouse button 3 as the button to press so it isnt interuppting anything
lets get together and work out what classes need to be doing what on defence and attack
we need flexible prioritys set, i can come up with some ideas if you want but only if needed

Wow, that pretty much sums it all up, nice one pete. One other thing that i think will help is not useing the tab key to look at scores during the game and i've done some work on tactics for badlands.

I think we work best on push cp maps, like badlands and granary. thats why i think we sould concentrate on a map like that. I think we should keep that in mind wen pickinga map to play, and think of tactics for that type of gameplay.
The thing i think that worked best was the fact we had some people on defense and some on offense, which led me to think of this tactic. We should have l 5 people defending and 3 attacking wen we are on our last two points, but once we have captured the middle point, for the 4th point we should swop to 5 people attacking and 3 defending, and then for last point we have 3 attacking, 3 defending 4th point, and 2 defending middle point.

i disagree joe about concentrating on cp pointmaps, what if the opposing team chooses something other than cp point? we just need to work slowly and surely on our overall teamplay and communication
shouldnt matter what kind of map we play then because we will have the basic team structure already in place and honed
